A sketch that got a little away from me today for one of my favourite fanfictions online!! I really love The Broken Cycle, and as a few of my lovely followers know… I’m a closet GanLink shipper (LEAVE ME BE. <3)

Ganon/Ganondorf has always been one of my favourite villains, and I really want to see more AU’s where he and Link team up (plus I love sarcastic Ganon… omg he is best). If you haven’t read this fanfic, and you love this ship, I TOTALLY RECOMMEND READING IT!! I love it so much~

Not much to say about this chapter, other than we finally get to know the identity of our IDTD Mystery Man! This is also another chapter from Kai’s POV. Enjoy them while they last; there’s only one more left ;D Next chapter will be in Jess’s POV. Also, I can tell you now that we’re going to see a new character introduced in the future, thus completing our ensemble. You may recall him from one of my sneak peeks ;P I can’t wait for y’all to meet him! The next chapter will be posted on July 20th!

Happy Two-Year Anniversary Desert Butterfly!!

Wow, @loveless987 and I can hardly believe that it has been two years… REALLY?? We couldn’t be more happy that the story is going strong, and it’s thanks to all our wonderful readers~!

To celebrate our anniversary AND the 20th chapter update, we have added two new designs to our Desert Butterfly Redbubble! One, a super pretty design of Ruka’s scarf from Chapter 17, and the other a slightly more sophisticated serpent pattern that mimics Evaden’s markings! Links will be below!

Ahaaa, well this should be fun! Wow, here comes a LOT of writing!!

20. Alternate Timelines are something that we do a lot in roleplays, especially because you can play around with scenarios and ideas.

Rhovan, we’ve had him in many situations, though I really think that my favourite is his pirate AU. Where he’s a pirate ship captain, and his lover turns out to be a merman or a trapped deity (which was one of my favourite stories!) My favourite what-if with him was probably when he was an almost ancient egyptian pharaoh/king and his lover traveled through time to meet him (Outlander-style!).

Feyri, on the other hand, OH BOY. Do we ever have a lot of alternate timelines. My favourite is a tossup between him as a forest spirit (which he technically is canonly as a druid) or a merman. He fits a merman so well that it’s been tempting not to just make that canon; he’s always curious and secretive, and sings wonderfully~ That would be one of my favourite what-ifs for Feyri if I had to be honest.

21. For Rhovan, a turning point in his life was probably meeting his lover’s parents… that’s a story for another time, but it was quite intense for him. Another, would be after he was knocked on his ass in the mud by Shung-li (@loveless987’s OC), his now loving lover~ <3

Feyri’s biggest turning point could probably when he was swept away from his home in a flood and lost his memory. He woke up far from home and couldn’t figure out where he was or why he was there, and ended up caught by slave traders. It wasn’t a wonderful point in his life, but it was also what led him to his husband, so that’s the positive part.

11. For Aquil, one of his worst habits is judging people the very second he meets them, especially by appearance. He is very intelligent, but being a king and used to having people be sneaky around him, he’s often prone to believing stereotypes.

12. As for grudges… He has a horrible hate for the desert tribes that live outside of his rule in his country. They often steal livestock, kill his people, and steal prized horses which are very valuable to his family.

1. YES!!! I love talking weaknesses with characters, especially physical!! Kale is actually quite the physical specimen, but like any human, he has flaws. Kale is super strong with his sword-arms (he is one of my only ambidextrous characters), but what he really lacks is speed.

His feet are often his weakness when it comes to complicated footwork or terrain. Where he is experienced as a swordsman, he is actually better off on flat ground facing multiple opponents that are larger than him.

Hi! So my dad and I tried the stew recipe AND IT'S SO GOOD! Seriously, it's winter over here and it's perfect for dinner on a freezing cold night. Thank you so much for sharing it!

5. You know… I could go on and on with how many guilty pleasures Feyri has. But, to name a few… He loves seeing his husband, Durion, cooking in an apron (and nothing else.), likes bossing his hubby around (especially if he gets to threaten him <3), and probably teasing Durion with skimpy little outfits. I could name all the rest, but then we’d be here until next year… <3

13. Usually his husband would get Fey flustered quite a lot (dirty talk really gets him blushy), but come to think of it, he becomes super flustered about storing food. He actually likes to keep organized stores of food in the cellar, and if they’re not properly maintained he gets fidgety and uppity.

@loveless987/Jacky: Well as many of you know, Eva is not one to get openly flustered. The painted mask reminds him not to move his expression while talking with others. The few times that he does get flustered is when someone he believes he was leading around in his plot actually turns things around and outsmarts him.

I’ve wanted to draw this for a while, but I love my OCs for Skyrim. Lately, I’ve gotten it for my switch, and I started out my new Redguard, Tali, who is a fantastic/master pickpocket if I do say so myself…

Then I got an idea and started out a khajiit named Za’jiir, who has an affinity for shiny gemstones and pretty earrings xD I figured they would make an awesome Nightingale threesome to go with my original OC and thief guildmaster, Aria, who’s in the middle figuring out which booby-traps to avoid next. Za’jiir is NOT fond of booby-traps…

I wanted to do some sketches of two OCs that I rarely draw or pay attention to, Chase and Gwyn! They’re from an old story that I’ve been trying to revive, and I seem to be having trouble with it… but doodling them can help!! I love the both of them, and Chase always seems to be a sweet bad-boy and Gwyn is my cute little feather-baby <3

Themes can include anything! Pairings, OCs, fanart, etc… I will draw anything I am comfortable with content-wise.

NOTE: if original characters are requested, please provide me with references! The more you give, the better I can draw them!

Once I have accepted the commission, I will contact you when I receive the email, and then email a watermarked sample sketch for approval and editing. This process can go on as long as you need it, since I want to make sure you get the best from the commission.

NOTE: I also work two jobs so if I don’t get back to you right away, do not fear! I’m not going to forget you~!

After approval, I will finish the commission and send a payment invoice via PayPal to your email. After it is paid, I will release the finished art piece to you through email. (YAY!)

NOTE: if you would like physical prints mailed to you, then we can discuss it over email. It WILL effect the final price, however.

The artwork is then yours to do with as you wish, as long as I am credited for it!!

Oh wow, we have an interesting chapter here. It’s a bit short, but @loveless987 and I have an interesting plot twist that will have you all probably chasing after the both of us for the next update…

I know I’m a few days late into MerMay, but I’ve had a few ideas and they’re gonna take a while to finish~ I haven’t drawn Steele as a merman in a long time, and this was the perfect opportunity! I like the idea of him having a slightly frilled fins, and a large fan, almost like a dress xD
